This dot matrix prints at a rapid 500 cps (draft speed is 300 cps) and can handle forms of up to six parts (five copy sheets plus the original). The printer has 24-pin wide-carriage printing and zero tear-off paper handling, which makes for a much cleaner sheet. The print-head is good for over 200 million strokes per wire, which ensures a long life, and it has a standard parallel interface. It includes front, rear, bottom, and top paper paths.The LQ-570E works with Windows 3.1x, Windows 95, and Windows NT 3.51/4.0 printer drivers. Included with the printer are a driver CD, a user's guide, and a print ribbon. Measuring 6.3 by 16.35 by 14.5 inches, the LQ-570E weighs 16.53 pounds and fits easily on a desktop or counter. Epson offers a two-year limited warranty in the U.S. and Canada.
