Porcelain manufacturer Bing & Grondahl was founded by sculptor Frederick Vilhelm Grondahl and merchant brothers Meyer Hermann Bing and Jacob Herman Bing. Plate is entitled Hjemme er Bedst (Home is Best). Reverse is written in Danish which translates "In the only original and limited release of Home is Best by Kurt Ard first edition in the series "The Realities of Life." A collection of porcelain plates of the Danish artist Kurt Ard manufactured in Copenhagen of Bing and Grondahl created in 1895 by the world's finest series Christmas plates for collectors. This editions production is limited to 50 braising days". Ard writes in his own hand," With my own son as a model I have portrayed the momentary but which we can remember today with a smile" Ard, born in Copenhagen in 1925 became internationally known for his cover artwork in popular magazines
