1830-40's Glass Scroll Style Flask

This was dug out of the Mississippi River by my great-great-grandmother and sat in my mother's china cabinet for years as a mystery object until recently. This is a violin or scroll style glass flask most likely from the Louisville Kentucky area or east coast. This was hand blown and is in immaculate condition. Every one of these I found online condition wise pales in comparison to the condition of this particular flask. There are similar that go for $500 or better with chips and damage of all sort. This one is just shy a 7 inches tall which is odd as well most I have found were roughly an inch shorter. This thing is roughly a hundred and eighty years old it looks just as good as the day it was crafted. It is a testament to American Ingenuity and craftsmanship and wood making welcome addition have a centerpiece for any persons collection. As always price is negotiable but not by much due to condition and age.
