Traveling Man Treasures is selling this 2001 Veronese Collection Egyptian Bastet cat statue. This is a heavy cold cast resin & bronze replica inspired by the ancient "Gayer-Anderson Cat" sculpture in the British Museum. The sculpture is in like-new condition with no issues.
The statue is a representation of the Egyptian goddess Bastet, depicted in her protective, domesticated cat form. It features a detailed collar with a scarab beetle and a wedjat eye (Eye of Horus) amulet, and signed "2001 Veronese" on the base.
