A beautiful Art Nouveau period (1883-1914) set of twin pins depicting two winsome women with flowing locks that are gazing at irises in bloom. The repousse' method of manufacture not only gives the pins depth, but also highlights the intricate detailed design. The c-clasp pins measure approximately 1" x 7/8", depending upon the orientation of the pin and where you take the measurements. Marked on the reverse "Sterling Top", the pins have a combined weight of 4.1 grams. In very fine antique condition, free of any dents or dings that is so commonly found in repousse' jewelry of this age.
