Beautiful purple velvet cover (board) on brass.
Intricate brass filigree on the cover (board) along with a hand carved, white raised celluloid Cross.
There is a brass latch closure.
Without doubt, the most elegant of decorated edges, and the one most proper to a book, which is intended to be elaborately tooled in gold, is a gilt edge. This book's edge is exquisite.
The inside of the boards, front and back, are in stunning gold thick paper with and elaborate floral design in green.
This book is incredibly lovely and we can not find another one.
