Antique figural putto (cherub) candelabrum, France or Continental Europe, circa 1890–1915. This decorative mantel or table centerpiece features a classical standing putto supporting a four-light candelabrum armature (three arms plus central socket).
Cast in spelter (zinc alloy) with an original bronze-toned patina and fitted with solid turned brass candle cups. Non-magnetic. Multi-part construction with central threaded rod, typical of late 19th–early 20th century European decorative metalwork.
The sculptural detailing, flowing drapery, and scrolling arms reflect Neoclassical / Romantic Revival design popular during the Belle Époque period. Unmarked, as commonly found on French decorative pieces of this era.
A substantial and elegant display piece for a mantel, sideboard, or vignette. Designed for wax tapers and has not been electrified.
