Rare Sommet France metal chocolate candy mold in the shape two birds, perhaps turtle doves or love birds, sitting on a nest. There are no maker's marks; this mold is most often attributed to the Sommet company of France. This listing comes with all of the pieces shown: the two sides, base, and two clips.
Vintage condition with rust, wear, and discoloration from age, use, and long-term storage along with scratches on the outside that were likely made by clips over the years. The interior is shiny and appears functional. About 6 1/4" tall and 12" wide. The oval base is about 8" long and 4 3/4" wide.
