This doll is in very good condition. She is part of a large collection of Lars dolls I purchased. This particular doll does not have the original Barbie stand. I am including another stand with her. She has been unboxed and does not have her original box. These dolls, were displayed for a short time in a China closet and then packed away.
Acclaimed designer Byron Lars pays homage to the milliner's art with the Chapeaux™ Collection. Sugar™ Barbie® doll — the first in this series — completes a very striking ensemble with an oversized pagoda hat. A colorful bead completes the hat and inspires the hues and design of the skirt.
This line of dolls were not mass produced. Owning one of these is a rare pleasure.
