A long time ago, when I lived in Japan, I picked up several packs of the Evangelion PP2 cards. They had 30 regular cards, and 4 chase cards if you bought the entire pack. Then I carefully collated them and put them back into their sleeves.
This is a COMPLETE SET of all forty-five regular cards #55-99, AND ALL NINE of the clear special chase cards, #46-54. (The 9 chase cards were on a ratio of 1:10, plus the outer packaging for whomever bought the last card.) So you needed to buy at least 3 packs of 34 to hope complete the set. UNLESS you were lucky picking single sleeves.
Some of the REI AYANAMI specials are listed online for $20-100 each.
