This is an Artley from 1960's Elkhart Indiana. It is a model before Artley started engraving 18-0. This is likely an early version of that model. Comes in original vintage case.
This flute does NOT play as is. Some notes will play and others not at all. The mechanism also needs at the very least adjusted. It desperately needs cleaned. I am hoping someone can find use for it even if just for the headjoint, case, protect, parts, etc.
The headjoint is solid silver but not stamped. The vertical bars symbol in the closeup headjoint picture means it is silver. Flute serial is 72928.
It has clearly sat in the case a long time and it has an old flute smell. I have no idea what it will need to be in good playing condition again and this is sold AS IS.
