Vintage hand-beaded silk evening dress featuring an Art Deco peacock / lotus motif with holographic sequins, glass bugle beads, metallic seed beads, and dimensional embroidery. Dramatic symmetrical front and back design with a full back zipper and secure top hook. Elegant midi silhouette with vertical beading for beautiful movement and light reflection. Made in India using traditional couture beadwork techniques.
Beadwork style and construction are consistent with Laurence Kazar–style high-end evening gowns from the late 1980s to early 1990s (unbranded boutique piece).
