This is the Space Shuttle Model Edition. It has passed NASA's rigorous tests and is used by astronauts.

The ink is fed to the pen tip by the pressure of nitrogen gas sealed inside, allowing writing even in zero gravity.

Due to the use of a special adhesive ink, it can be stored for over 100 years without drying out.
It was also used in the Apollo 11 lunar landing mission.

This item was obtained over a decade ago and has only been used for a few test writings, otherwise unused.
The outer box has some minor scratches.
