Gisela Kleinschmidt, born in 1926 in Königsberg / Pr., Spent her childhood and youth in Ortelsburg / Mazury. 1946-1948 she learned graphic and letterpress printing at the Master School for the Craft & Design in Erfurt. This was followed up in 1950 to study graphic design at the Hamburg Art School. Since 1955 Gisela Kleinschmidt was working as a freelance graphic artist in Lübeck/Germany. The artist died 1997
