This is an antique flat weave Turkish kilim rug, 120" x 149". It is very bright on one side and muted a bit on the other, probably from sunlight. The colors are quite spectacular.
It is damaged in one corner. A cut was made for some reason (and sewn up) and a piece the size of a fist removed. One selvage edge is worn, the serging there missing for about a foot.
