MCM mid-century modern BITOSSI Italian art pottery covered jar Native American .... This is one piece of a three piece that I just purchased and this is the covered jar not sure if it was for tobacco or what it was for but it has no smell of tobacco in it anyways it's 7 in by 4 in and it has no repairs there are some shallow chips on the upper rim you can see in the photos and there is a shallow very shallow chip on the bottom of the lid but there's nothing in the rims nothing on the knob and there are no hair lines! Look at that gorgeous original paper raymore label on the bottom! Stunning! The title should read at the end Native American design as you can see that BITOSSI was trying to pay homage to some sort of Northern American Indian basketry with this design. Super super safe shipper with 27 years experience. Concurrently listed is the matching 13-in cylinder vase and the 9-in cylinder vase.... All in the exact same style and decoration!
