Men SEIKO Sportsmatic Vintage 1968 17 jewel Mechanical Set & Autowind Goldfinish

This is a vintage mens Seiko from 1968, when it was still allowed to be advertised as 'Waterproof'. It has a convex Square gold finished case measuring 36mm by 34mm. A perfect crystal protects a silver radiant sunburst style dial with all gold accents. The date is at the 3 as well as a recessed crown. The movement is Seiko's 7625 which is a well designed and built all alloy no plastic unit. It has had a recent service and keeps good time for a timepiece of the era. The bracelet is a stainless steel 'Jubilee' type with a Z-Deployment clasp. This combo will fit up to a 8" wrist in comfort. This Timepiece makes a fine collectors edition and can be worn daily, It is listed as in good condition, however it is superior to good, but due to its age and some very fine imperfections cannot be listed as like new.
