Antique sugar spoon by Rockford Silverplate Co
It has a fluted bowl and measures about 6" long.
This spoon must have been owned by someone with a sweet tooth - there is wear to the plating
Her name was Mary, as is engraved on the handle.
The Rockford Silver Plate Company which states that it was founded in 1875 under the title of the Racine Silver Plate Company. After a “disastrous" fire in 1882, the business was moved to Rockford, Illinois under the name Rockford Silver Plate Company.
