RARE copy of The Virginia Housewife by Mary Randolph. Unfortunately the title page appears to be missing, but the date of January 1831 is mentioned in the preface. There is also a personal note inside dated Dec 31, 1838, and it is also written on the Contents page. The title page appears to be the only page missing. There is an article glued inside the back, but a section is missing. The book measures approximately 6 3/4" long x 4 3/8" wide, and 174 pages. Foxed and brittle pages throughout, but nothing seems loose.
