ROSELLA PAXTON Navajo Sterling & Green Brown Hubei Turquoise Butterfly Pendant

This beautiful sterling silver statement pendant by the talented Navajo artist Rosella Paxton features a striking butterfly motif rendered in rich color and texture. The wings are formed from four greenish blue Hubei turquoise stones with a dramatic chocolate brown matrix, each individually bezel set with a dotted border that adds definition and contrast. The butterfly body is adorned with an artful combination of starshots, stamped raindrops, and smooth flat raindrops, creating depth and visual rhythm throughout the design. The eyes are dark green Hubei turquoise cabochons with a brown matrix, adding an expressive finishing touch. A beautifully stamped bail in a blanket pattern completes the piece and comfortably accommodates beads up to 16 millimeters.
