Set 2 separate alarm times, 1 for weekdays & the other for weekends. You can clearly see when the alarm is active when the alarm indicator is lit on the display. Use two (2) AAA batteries (not included) for back up in case of a power outage. The clock is electric operated; the battery backup does not power the clock. The battery backup is used for storing the time & alarm settings if the power is interrupted. During battery backup the clock’s display will not be lit. Once the power is restored the display will re-light. Check the time to make sure it is accurate & re-set if necessary. Great for bedside clock or anyplace in the home, office or school. The clock is compatible with 110V/120V power outlets.
