The system powers on and functions, but it now appears to have a bad disc drive. It previously read and played game discs, though during gameplay I noticed longer loading times and some dialogue/audio sync issues. After testing again, the disc drive no longer reads games. Because of this, the console is being sold as-is for parts or repair.
