Set of 2 jackets from the Torino 2006 Winter Olympics designed by Tu Ly for Hudson's Bay Company (HBC). These jackets are new/never worn and are the Official Team Canada jackets from the Opening Ceremony and Closing Ceremony from the Torino 2006 Winter Olympics (XX Olympic Winter Games).
The white version is from Opening Ceremony and includes an all red inner liner.
The all red version is from Closing Ceremony.
These versions were MADE IN CANADA, indicating that they were exclusively made for Team Canada athletes, coaches, and Canadian Olympic Committee (COC) Mission Staff. The replica versions that were sold to the general public were made overseas, with cheaper materials, to make them more cost-effective for a wider audience.
These have been in storage for almost 20 years.
A great piece of history with HBC's recent closing, after 355 years.
