Oval shaped reverse carved intaglio crystal with a classical woman's profile portrait, featuring an elaborate hairdo. The glass is faceted around the edges and set in a decorative metal mount with a floral design. Dates to late 1880s to 1910.
There is a tiny hole to add a jump ring to attach as a pendant. There are also two small holes on each end of the frame, where you could attach a pin to wear this as a brooch.
Very good vintage condition, with some patina to the metal and some faint markings in the glass.
Measures : 1" x 2" x 1/16". The metal casing add an additional 1/4" x 1 1/2" across
