Absolutely stunning black 100% cashmere coat.
Made in Corning, NY for the Rockwell Co.
This coat is in exquisite condition & was upkept well. The only flaws I see are a repaired seam in the right armpit (pictured) & I repaired the ripped seam near the ILGWU tag.
The cashmere authentication comes from Einiger with a serial # of 127523. The coat was also authenticated by the International Ladies Garment Workers Union (ILGWU) & the National Coat & Suit Industry Recovery Board.
This Coat was likely made between 1964-1974. Features 3 large plastic buttons, snap closure at the neck, pockets and buttons for attaching a collar.
Has a shorter, almost 1/4 sleeve & a boxy/drape like silhoette as it was most likely worn for fancy events & possibly over dresses. Please look up the upkeep of cashmere prior to purchase so you can ensure this gem lasts a lifetime.
