This is a vintage Anchor Hocking Colonial Green depression glass bowl, also known by the pattern names "Knife and Fork" or "Colonial".
It is made from uranium glass, which gives it a distinct green hue in normal light and causes it to fluoresce under a UV black light.
The pattern features a central starburst or sunray design in the base, with scalloped edges.
The Colonial pattern was manufactured by the Hocking Glass Company (later Anchor Hocking) for a limited time, primarily between 1934 and 1936.
It is a collectible item from the Depression Era.
