Vintage Chinese Cloisonné Bird Figurines Pair on Carved Wood Stands

This is a stunning, matched pair of vintage Chinese Cloisonné enamel bird sculptures, mounted on custom-carved dark wood bases.

Each bird is beautifully crafted with the traditional cloisonné technique: intricate metal wirework is filled with vibrant blue, red, and turquoise enamel, fired to a glossy finish. The beaks, legs, and talons are finished in a bright gold tone.

The pair is designed for symmetrical display:

• Standing Bird: 8 inches long x 5 inches tall (head to feet).

• Flying Bird (Wings Open): 8 inches long x 8 inches tall (wing to feet).

Note on Pairing: They are sold as a decorative pair. While they match in style and size, it is possible they were produced at slightly different times. One bird retains a partial sticker on the tail from a previous retail sale.
