A set of 5 Vintage EAGLE Mirado 174 #3 Pencils, AND the original box!

Pencils have been used, sharpened, and are of different lengths. These are USED and NOT new.

Eagle Mirado pencils, including the #3 grade (softest), have a long history, starting as the "Mikado" before the 1941 name change due to WWII, then becoming "Berol Mirado" around 1969-1972 when Eagle merged with Berol, with production continuing under Berol/Empire/Sanford brands until the mid-90s. Earlier pencils (pre-1970) are "Eagle," while later ones are "Berol".

Key Dates & Brands:
Before 1941: Called the "Mikado".
1941-~1969: Renamed "Mirado" (still "Eagle") after Pearl Harbor.
~1970-1987: "Eagle" merged with Berol, so you'll see "Berol Mirado" and co-branding.
