This is a vintage handcrafted in Mexico leather purse. It features hand tooled and embossed designs with accents of saddle stitching. The front flap has a wooden toggle closure.
Dimensions=11 inches in width at the widest part of the body, 10 inches in height, and 3 inches in depth.
The body of the purse is in fair to good used condition. There is some scuffing and other signs of age-related wear. The interior is very clean.
The braided strap is in excellent condition, very thick leather with no cracking or breakage. Please note: the strap is securely attached to only one side of the purse. The leather lace attaching the strap to one side of the purse is missing. There is no damage, just a missing lace which would an easy repair.
The only defect I can find is the embossing detail on the top of the purse seems to be uneven. I don’t do leatherwork, it looks like perhaps the artisan didn’t finish the detail in this one spot? Please review the pictures to see detail.
