This is a beautifully crafted vintage Hartmann double gusset Briefcase . It was designed for Hartmann by Gian Paolo Lombardo. The case has a brass plaque with authentication number 405201 stamped on it.

There are thick brass feet to protect the base of the bag.
This bag is in very good used condition. It has no rips, tears or holes. All hardware works as intended. It is structurally sound. There are a few minor pen marks inside but otherwise clean inside and out. Like most vintage bags it has some surface scuffs and scratches.
