Vintage brass Pilcher ladies compact with original mirror and powder. Comes in original slip on box. Condition is good for age but listed as fair. The original mirror has lost some of its silver. The powder is in pieces. The front that shows the state is in good condition while the back of the compact has numerous scratches. This was presented to my mother upon graduation in 1949 from her employer. Pilcher is known for its etched state inspired compacts. Not only is this a great antique compact but it depicts highlights of the great state of Kansas.
