Vintage Silk Chinoiserie Piano Shawl

Vintage chinoiserie piano shawl with black fringe. This piece can be worn as a shawl or used as a table cover, wall hanging, over a piece of upholstered furniture or a piano ( historically these were used to cover the top of a grand piano to protect it and add flare). The repeating scenes depicted are I believe Japanese geishas with parasols near a waterfall, others flying kites interspersed with trees with blue flowers.

It measures 54" x 58" and the fringe adds another 6". Fringe is all intact. There are a few small spots and yellowing as would be expected of a vintage item but due to the pattern they mostly blend in (see last pic for worst example). No tags. I estimate it's from the 1930's-40's and feels and looks like slubbed/raw silk. Mostly on the underside the silk shows wear but there are no holes,rips, or odors etc. There is a seam up the middle of the silk. It's a head-turning piece that would complement a variety of styles and home decor.
