Vintage Steiff plush animal from my childhood collection, most likely a beaver based on the body shape, flat tail, whiskers, and felt feet. Features the iconic Steiff metal button in ear with yellow ear tag marked Western Germany, dating it to pre reunification production.
Made with Steiff synthetic plush rather than mohair, with glass eyes and original felt paws and feet. Classic Steiff craftsmanship and a great example of their mid century to late 20th century woodland animals.
Comes from a smoke free home.
