This vintage tie bar is made of sterling silver with a black niello finish. The tie bar features the Buddhist Arum or Temple of Dawn, a design that Is less common than others I’ve come across. It’s o remarkable how the artisan created dimension. There appears to be gold in in the etching, as well. The red box is embossed leather or vinyl and it has blue felt inside. Would make a great gift for the collector of all things old! H1
