Gorgeous ballgown formal by Mike Benet from the 1970s. The dress features a lovely scalloped white lace bodice with ribbon soutache, a ruched pink cummerbund style waist band, and a very full black taffeta skirt. There are three layers under the skirt - two crinolines and a polyester fabric as the bottom layer. It zips up the back with a nylon zipper. Tagged a size 8 but in modern sizing it would fit S or XS. Very good condition. Made by Mike Benet. No fabric content label but I'm pretty certain it is polyester taffeta.
